This community mural project was made possible by the Gloria Burt Sacramento Region Art Fellowship. I developed a youth focused mural-make program and worked with a group of kids from Wellspring Women's Center. Over the course of 3 weeks we explored mural theme ideas, got our hands dirty with art projects, and ultimately had a community paint day for Wellspring and neighborhood children. I was assisted in this project by Juliet Rodriguez. The wall was donated by Capital Graphics.
