Artist Resources
Grant Sites & Search Engines
Creative and business resources
(with an emphasis on Sacramento and California artists)
I am always updating this list. Some sites I frequently use, others have been recommendations by fellow artists.
My art call personal favorites are CaFe and Public Artist. If you are interested in pursuing public art opportunities I recommend signing up for newsletters from various government public art departments. Frequently these calls will be local, however sometimes a public art call will be national and might not be widely advertised.
I suggest keeping a record of all your statements, Q&A's, bios, blurbs, and writings so that you may pull from them in future calls. No matter what, keep applying!
If you have a suggestion for an artist resource please feel free to let me know!
